Waterfront (IMAX) Bournemouth Dorset

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!

The Waterfront - IMAX building alongside the Bournemouth Pier Approch is probably the most deeply unpopular building in the history of the town.

The site was formerly occupied by public baths; these were demolished in the early 1980s and for years it formed a gravel extension to the car park behind. In the 1990s this edifice was erected and the IMAX cinema finally opened in 2002, after much delay. But it was widely criticised as being too big for the site, as it blocked the sea views from the descent of Bath Road.

Emporio is a luxurious property, beautifully designed over three floors of curved glass elevations. This mansion occupies position adjacent to the shores of Poole Harbour with stunning views of Brownsea Island and beyond.

The sales and marketing of a property can greatly benefit from mast photography by allowing an elevated view of the surroundings in which the property lies. Compared to a ground level photography the property will convey a true and detailed perspective of the property prior to viewing.

The technology used to achieve these unique photographs is highly advanced giving top quality results and can be setup in fewer than 15 minutes. A camera is elevated up to 50 ft using a telescopic mast. Once elevated the operator has full remote control of the camera rotation, tilt and zoom whilst being able to instantly view the image from the ground on a colour LCD monitor for precise picture composition before the picture is taken. A computer laptop is used to adjust the camera settings and take the final image which is downloaded immediately using special software.
