Officers and NCOs of the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons (Service Squadron), raised in Ireland in the first months of the war. Many of these men went on to serve in the 2nd Regiment North Irish Horse, which formed by the combination of this Squadron and C and F Squadrons of the NIH in June 1916. The Squadron embarked for France at the beginning of October 1915.
