This is a new development by Wyatt Homes. When I was a boy I used to play here as this used to my Granddads Boatyard! My Uncle sold the Boatyard many years ago until it was finally built on. Part of the deal was it had to have a slipway for boats.

My fourth visit this year, autumn time lovely clash of colour. Just a pity about the mist! But it did make the colours stand out more, looking forward to next year.

Royal Navy Cordite Factory - Holton Heath Poole Dorset.
The Royal Navy Cordite Factory (RNCF), was set up at Holton Heath, Dorset in World War I to manufacture Cordite for the Royal Navy. It was reactivated in World War II to manufacture gun propellants for the Admiralty. This is a full size model of the factory during World War ll.

Third visit this year, plants are starting to grow and blossom before autumn sets in. On today’s shoot the sun was not kind and wouldn’t come out! Looking forward to the next shoot when the trees change colour in the autumn.
