Right at the heart of the Old Lyon district, the musée des Miniatures et Décors de Cinéma (the Museum of Miniatures and Cinema Décor) is brought to life with a concept you won't find anywhere else on French soil.
The museum attempts to make the visitor discover two of the most rare and surprising artistic expressions.
On the one hand, the art of miniature décor by showing exclusively in Lyon the hyper-realist works by the artist Dan Ohlmann and, on the other hand, the art of cinema décor inviting the public to enter into the vast mises en scènes which actually served as film sets.
